Important Message from the General Manager

Welcome to Wyong Council Credit Union’s Internet Banking Facility NetTeller.

Your Credit Union has recently upgraded our NetTeller software to provide you with an improved internet banking experience.

We understand that our members need secure, flexible and convenient access to their money. The NetTeller environment is an extremely important part of our service to you, and one that we are constantly working to improve. The changes we are introducing are aimed at enhancing usability and making your online banking experience more convenient and safer.

The most significant change to effect members is the addition of SMS Security Verification (2 Factor Authentication). Your Credit Union has made a significant investment to improve the security for our members. This added level of security aims to protect you against fraudsters gaining access to your money by adding a second layer of identity verification.

You will be required to register your mobile phone details either at signing-in or via the Security Settings. The SMS Security Verification will be activated when you first establish a new external transfer or BPAY payment.

We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause you, however feel confident that the changes help make your internet banking transactions as safe and secure as possible.

What you will experience from our new NetTeller:

  • Updated look and feel of the NetTeller environment
  • Additional Security features including 2 Factor Authentication
  • Ability to personalise accounts
  • Ability to open Savings Accounts
  • Ability to set-up SMS Alerts for payroll, cheque clearance or balance limits.
  • Ability to submit a Loan application
  • Ability to update contact details

In order to keep this added security affordable for all members, your Credit Union has been able to implement a minor cost for each SMS at $0.25 for all SMS Security Alerts and SMS Alerts that are requested by you via SMS & Email Alerts, which we believe is well below industry average and a small price for the added security of your money.
